As of May 12th, we are now at the Third Quarter Square, with the Sun at 21° Taurus and the Moon at 21° Aquarius.

This period is known as the crisis of consciousness where we can reflect on the events triggered by the recent Lunar Eclipse. The Soli-Lunar cycle was previously in the sign of Aries with Jupiter also in Aries, but is now moving into the sign of Taurus. Furthermore, during the Lunar Eclipse, the Sun was moving toward a conjunction with Uranus in Taurus, while the Mercury retrograde cycle is also in Taurus. We’ve now experienced an influx of information exchange and communication, making it important to consolidate our thoughts and streamline our actions while maintaining a mindset of openness and adaptability. It's an opportune time to distill our learnings and experiences from the past weeks and adopt simplicity as we forge ahead.

Sun, Uranus, Mercury all gather in Taurus

Taurus, our prevailing theme, conjures images of a comfortable and fulfilling life, where we discover happiness in the uncomplicated pleasures of nature and tranquil surroundings. It reminds us of the joy derived from sharing a homemade meal with our loved ones and immersing ourselves in the details of our surroundings, appealing to all our senses.

Taurus is also guided by persistence, determination, and unwavering focus as fundamental principles of manifestation. The archetype asks us to develop our talents, utilize resources, and determine what sustains us. Motivated by self-worth, it finds intrinsic value in work, actions, abilities, and talents. It seeks to create, ground, and find material stability. Taurus resonates with life's rhythms and possesses a supportive, reserved nature. While reliable, it exercises caution, taking time to decide but remaining steadfast.

While the Taurus archetype can be consumed by a need for security or an excessive attachment to material things, it can overcome these tendencies by cultivating gratitude. Vitality is possible through appreciating nature, diversity, community and the beautiful moments of life that go beyond the material. Through this practice, it’s possible to gain deeper insights and find contentment in life.

May 9th Sun conjunct Uranus

The Sun conjunct Uranus encourages us to fully embrace the Taruean archetype and be open to making fundamentally new discoveries. It urges us to see things clearly and manifest our desires step by step. Uranus prompts us to seek our own truth and be open-minded, breaking free from restrictions and preferring independence over conformity. By letting go of traditional beliefs and embracing personal exploration, we can discover our true essence and unlock a broader realm of life. We can merge our newfound understanding with Uranus' innovative energy to turn our dreams into reality. Embracing the shift from mere activity to focused clarity, we can also extract wisdom from our experiences and gain deeper insights.
